Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition 12V blocks differences.....what are they!

Competition HEY DHRA whats the word on the TRUCK JAM

True, but these were bolted to ETC engines (with the bigger injection pump), which the lead post specifically disregards.

We are concerned about the ETH HO pumps only here, and Hoss' results are therefore completely irrelevant.

Gents, ETH and DEE are not one and the same in all cases-- just 01 and 02.

I belive Kurt Haisleys truck is over 1000 hp, with #2 and water injection, twin turbo;s

Jetpilot did 577. 3/1060. 3 with a 02 automatic Ram with the stock VP44 and a single charger. The truck was equipped with a Air Dog fuel supply pump,B1,DTT,Piers and Formula Diesel parts. It was one of the best rolling single charger electronic trucks I have seen... ... ... ... ... ..... Andy

Drugs are good, I ran a 518. 3 with well tuned lpg and DD2, With JAMMER 3's and water/meth yet to be deterrmined.

I want TWIN TURBO'S.

I know the post said no drugs, but I wanted to get my two bits in too.

So it sounds like for an ETH with stock vp44, about 525 +or- seems to be it with no drugs. At least thats what is being posted. So what all is involved with a SO pump conversion. Besides pump and ECM what else do you need to do? My truck just doesn't have enough juice anymore, i want more. Maybe I should just put on the stinkin p-pump??

So what is the verdict on the modified vp44's, are they living, is anybody selling them now. (sorry, haven't been keeping up on the latest info). How much power are people seeing from them. Are you better off just swapping to the SO pump, or are the modified HO pumps making decent power?

My daily driver makes 466. 1 with B-dog 3's a drag and Htb2 and I drive it 90-100miles per day at 17+ mpg. Very driver friendly and not hardly any smoke with the box off. Sure bwould like to make over 500hp but how friendly is it to drive on a single turbo. I'm sure edm's would help but what size would give me the extra power and yet drivability. Remember Austin, Tx. is a tree hugger city :-laf Not running a huge injector just think it is a nice blend of fuel and air, since my egt's only get to about 1450* when on a long blast to 100mph+ at 47psi. Also the wildcat maxflow kit helps me to only draw fp down to 7psi on a long pull with the original Lp with 70K on the clock and bombs since 3K. Over all very happy with my 02' ETH wouldn't trade it for the world... :D :D :D

Sorry if this doesn't help.

TTT, whats up with the modified pumps?? Anybody have experience and want to talk?? Are they some kind of dirty lil secret or what?

THanks, Jared.

Keith's truck is a good example of what I'm looking for. If you posted druggie numbers, that's ok.

The reason I ask this question goes back to injector sizing. I've been told by very knowledgeable folks that a stock ETH pump is pretty much done around 530hp or so.

Thus, running injectors over 150hp or so would be a waste on an ETH second gen with a stock pump.

I mean, how well does a stock 12V 160hp pump perform with 370s? Not well. You get my idea.

I'm thinking that for MY truck, 500hp with a HO pump is about the limit. I could probably pick up another 30-50 with twins, and after that, drugs are the only way to make more HP.

Hey Duuuuude ... call Piers, you know the ## :)

Phil you been laying low lately Buddy

Gary, how is everything. Yeah, been laying low. All my time efforts and money have been going to this dang house. Framing is almost done, still a long way to go, but i've got the itch for something new on the truck. Twins are the logical next step, but ive got a p-pump sitting on the workbench just begging me for a home. Eventually, i'll probably take that plunge. I was just reading another thread where RonA made 504 with 275 injectors on his p-pumped 24valve. Thats sweet.

Sounds like all work and no play Phil :( good to see ya here again.

hey man, ask James what he is turning with his P-Pumped 24 valve ? last time I saw it was runing pretty solid.

YO BBD whats up man. Yeah, i talked to james, and it kind of got me jazzed about the p-pump. ( i mean really what's not to love about it. LOL) He told me the truck is running stronger than it ever had with the vp44 and all the super top secret stuff he had. LOL I know he hadn't spent much if any time at all tuning it either. I know the p-pump will rock, i just need to decide what i want. Can't decide if i would rather keep pushing this thing, or detune it a little, keep it strictly as a tow vehicle then buy an older truck to turn in to a toy.

IMO, leave that one alone its nice like it sits. get a toy then build that puppy up and help me and the others keep the Cummins on top in the West :D With the new job here at a different base not sure how many I can make next year
