$500 Light Bulb???

I hope this is the right placet to post this. This is the first time I've tried to post with pictures. I hope it works. I had already started to process the hog before I thought to take picts. This thing was as long as the tailgate on my son's '02 2500. The guy that killed it said it weighted 110 lbs. , it actually was closer to 210 lbs.

I find that photo very offensive!

All that blood getting on a rightous truck! Geezz ;)

(at least put a piece of ply wood on the tailgate :-laf)

Ooops. I thought this was going to be a motorcycle thread. Sorry.

Here's a picture of my "hog". :D

Ron, nice pic of the hog! I want to go hog hunting someday.

Craig, I think TowPro said it best! :-laf

Do any of the vehicles in that pic have more than 50 miles on them? :p

crobertson1: One of my Asst. Scout Masters dogs were barking the other night and would not stop, he went to investigate and they had this hog (female) cornered, he shot it and didn't know what to do with it so he called me. I knew what to do. So far we have had one fantastic backstrap, and my wife fixed a roast for Sunday lunch after church yesterday and it was GREAT.

KBennett: If you ever get down this way, I'll be glad to take you. Northeast Texas.

Ron

rono,

Where do you live in northeast TX?

One of our neighbors trapped 7 feral hogs on his place last week near Mount Pleasant. We have places in our pasture where they have rooted up the ground... really make a mess too.

Bill

Bill, I llive in Hawkins and work in Tyler. I was thru Mt. Pleasant the other day. You are right they will make a mess of a pasture in no time. Most people that have pasture land and cattle want them trapped or hunted cause they can cause injury to the cows, broken legs etc...

Ron

Hog huntin is great, maybe some of us Texas members can get together for a hunt. Now that it finally rained I can use my muzzleloader, I normally use a bow. Could use the . 270 but what fun is there in that, lol.

So for the members close to DFW what say ye. Up for some hog huntin?

HO, I could tell. As tall and thick as that thing is it must be pushing 400lbs. Was it to big to be good to eat?

SHobbs, I am over close to Tyler, but I would travel that for to hunt hogs. They are that much fun. I have quit hunting deer cause hogs are more fun and better to eat.

Lets hear from some others. This could really be a fun time.

Ron

We have the damn things all over the place in South Alabama... No Closed Season, No bag Limit. They tear up everyting. I have shot piglets scouting deer land just to thin the heard. They do eat good, but are no fun to skin out.
