I don't know, but anyone with oil stock right now should be coming out real good since Saddam got caught. Oil is UP.

Could it be that now we know who is in control of the oil (and the contracts)? I should not be bellyaching as my entire life is based on oil stock right now (conscience hurts though, would much rather see some good ole price gouging, than our men dieing for it).

Any UN resolution is not worth the paper its printed on according to the right, so may I ask "why" is it such a righteous reason to go to war? Israel has over 12 UN resolutions against it. Unless a country is attacking YOU there is no reason for war. War should be a last resort, not they MAY have WMDs, or they MAY be conspiring with terrorists. This is just flat out paranoia, and to say different is blind backing of a administration because of party affiliation!

First you give WMDs for a reason, then it turns to 1441, then it turns to liberation, then it turns humanitarian. Now it is all money.

Not whining, just looks darn funny. It would be, if there were not deaths of our boys on a daily basis! :(

I didn't pay as much attention to Kosovo as perhaps I should have. As I understand it, we went in there as part of a real international coalition, we were fighting partisans (as opposed to a real army), and the world supported it. There was none of the flimsy excuse making that the Bush Administration has become famous for. Kosovo isn't a full country with a government like Iraq, so we didn't set up a puppet government. We went in with a truly moral mission to save lives, instead of using local lives as an excuse to get ahold of oil fields. That's my take on it - what's yours?

Well my take it surely larger than what I'd be willing to post. I took part personally in the Kosovo action, and thus far haven't in the current iraqi excursion. I would like to point out that the situations are drastically similar to each other. Clinton, lauched a "preemptive" strike against milosivich, he was killing THOUSANDS of innocent people during his genocide, yet no one really complained that much. OK I did, because i got a call on thanksgiving morning at like 2 am telling me I was to be on a C5 at 5 am to europe. But anyway, I see uncanny resemblance to the 2 situations and CLinton sure didn't catch near the flak that Bush is for doing almost the same thing.

Ofcourse comparing the two is really unfair, they both had situations of their own, but I just can't stand the partisan politics that interferes with logic.

Personally I'd sure like to see a candidate that would toss partisan politics and run for what HE believes in and what HE thinks would be right, instead of what the lobbyists and people with money can BUY what is right.

Nothing is perfect I guess, I'm not sticking up for Bush a whole lot here, but i'll be damned if i stand by and watch people stick up for Clinton, I been there, I worked for his lousy A** and I'm proud to say I stuck through it... and I thank God it's over!
