Anyone have to replace brakes on an `03 yet?

Found a 4 gauge a-pillar!

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the horn chirp upon arming the alarm system?

It would be O. K. if the honk was at a reduced output but I find it a little annoying at times and would rather have it disabled.

I've checked the owners manual in the alarm and horn sections but found nothing indicating this is possible.

Thanks,

Yes I asked at dealership and they turned mine off; lights only flash on arm/disarm. I don't know if it is something that a individual can do or not.

I have never had my car alarm go off so I don't know if the alarm is actually turned off and I only have lock/unlock features working.

When I don't want to hear the sound I just hit the door lock switch inside the truck, it sets the alarm as well without the horn going off.

Blufrog,

Does using the door lock switch to lock all the doors and then closing the driver's door cause any harm to the door or lock? I've done that a few times, but wondered if it was OK to do all the time.
