Battery Voltage LH and RH as they came from CAT...
 
Right Hand battery boiling and hissing. Now I get thinking about it the voltmeter was running a bit high, but first trip this year so didn't catch it right off.

I agree with seafish. If the batteries aren't that old I would also suspect the crossover cable. If this truck is the 2006 it wouldn't hurt to change out the crossover cable anyway when you do the batteries. Get a cable that is at least as stout as the existing cable (which always seemed a bit thin to me) and a heavy duty lug and heavy duty terminal and switch it out. It's an easy job and will save you a lot of aggravation down the road. All the parts shouldn't be more than about $50.
 
Bad Primary Field Circuit in ECM from poor factory ground to ECM for that circuit. The battery temp sensor shouldn’t give an overcharge. Use an external voltage regulator and put a load ballast in old hot wire from charging circuit to at least not have a dead needle in your dash. Not a perfect solution guys. Rebuild ECM after that or buy new.
