I will have to call I. I. back. I think what they said is that I would gain 60-70 hp over the gain that the comp provides. But your post now makes me question that.
Mine is a drag comp so 145 + 60 = 205hp ?
I must call I. I. back.
If that's the case then a HRVP, 200HP injectors and a drag comp would make for a 700hp truck on fuel???(assuming lots of air of course) stock truck makes about 190rwhp, so 390 with injectors... that plus the 100hp the HRVP should add to big injectors makes 490... plus another 205 from comp box makes 695hp.
Everyone i've seen with a HRVP and comp has results closer to Dino's then to 205hp from the comp.
I would figure the math with HRVP, 200hp injectors and drag comp to go more like: 190rwhp stock, 390hp with injectors... plus 100hp from HRVP (if that) plus 70hp from comp (if that) equals 560hp total. I think that is more inline with where a HRVP truck ends up.
I don't know... this stuff sure is interesting though.
And for what it's worth Dino tried my drag comp which works great in my truck. In his it added tons of smoke, but no power at all. Like honestly couldn't hardly notice a difference riding in the truck. However, his truck on injector only feels incredibly strong to me.

Edited to add: Someone that knows how these HRVP pumps work will hopefully chime in. I don't understand much about the how's of it at all. I'm going off of the three people i know firsthand and all they have gone through trying to make hp with a HRVP.
Maybe the guys posting to this thread with HRVP's can report there dyno numbers? I would like to see how different combinations work together to make HP.
