Hoss take it easy on the starter!Poor guy was cussin you out I bet! 10. 57 is movin!! our car runs 10. 80 and can't think what it feels like in a truck!

Way too awesome!!

I was in the staging lanes about 6 cars back when he did his "slow" run of the day with a 10. 60 (? ). After he started his burnoff, I lost sight of his truck in the smoke, and didn't know he'd gone until the reader board lit up. That run was, what, 3/10ths faster than his last run?

On his next run I had gone several cars before him, and sat on the return road just past the sign boards to watch. Man, that truck is something to see! It comes at ya so fast...

So, big props to Pee-Diddee once again. Without equal...

Also gotta give a big shout-out to young Will Fletcher (or Wee-Diddee Wood Teeth as he's known in Stanwood) as I know he's done a fair share of the mechanicing on that rig. He also helped me drop my 60' times back down to 1. 70 today. Keep up the good work kid! :)

Great to see Hoss's new ride. That's one nice looking truck you got there H! Keep at 'er; I'm already used to being a little dog again... :)

Was Fletcher disqualified because of a missing headlight? Are you needing to run with a cage, or any special equipment because of those times?

You need to buy the starter an O2 tank, and chemical suit to wear when you come to play. He's still probably trying to wash all the soot off his body.

You're invited to bring those trucks East of the Mississippi. Let's see how well they breathe the air in the Midwest. By the way, our tracks have a slight grade to them, just to make it challenging. :D :D

Rhonda: What was your official time and MPH?

Paul

Wow. That's a really solid mid-10's pass with a sweet MPH. He's gaining 24+ mph from the 1/8-1/4... 60' is also pretty sweet...

I wanna see more photos of Will's truck... . I like the look of the slicks all tucked in. #ad

Just post 'em, he couldn't possibly mind unless you caught him with the sheep again. :p

Paul, I think they tech him pretty close; it's not as if he blends in... :)

I'm still struggling for a comeback after some issues... I was back in the 13's until Sunday, now I'm at 12. 8, 102mph. Hoping to beat my best soon. Points race (brackets) next weekend at Mission. It won't matter if I'm a little slow there...

Thanks for posting the pictures Byron!!:D

I will sure be glad to see my first time slip that is faster than

Mr. Pee Dribble chrome teeth

Great pics!

Those 2wd trucks look bada$$ with that low slung stance and the BHS (Big Honkin' Slicks)

Nice truck, Rhonda... . so that's what my '98. 4 would look like without a topper.

Matt, I agree, Rhonda's truck looks like yours. You'll have to go to the Jefferson Swap Meet, and see if you can find the same type of hood. You need to get some "FLAMES" to stick on the side until you get the truck to run in the 12's.

Isn't there a saying "If you look fast, you''ll go fast". I think everyone should put flames on the side of their trucks. I bet it would drop the quarter time by a 1/10th or more. Would anyone test this theory for me?
