Thanks, TDR Staff

It seems that this thread died off a while back so I'll give it a 'bump'...

What's the status of this? I am going to do a Cummins conversion on a 79 F250 4x4 Supercab and think a forum for the conversions would be great.

On the Ford van comment, Lou from the Diesel Repower page put a 6BT and 4 speed Allison in an 87 E-350...

Next we will have a forum for guys who want to put twin turboed slant 6's in their trucks! #ad
!

Dad is driving a Ford with a Cummins and an Allison right now,(formerly 460 gasser) I think it would be great.

I would like to see a conversion forum too.

But if it means we'd have to watch Power Wagon steaking through here wearing only a pair of sneakers... .

Maybe Power Wagon shouldn't be going to bat for us on this one #ad

This would be great. Everything should be Cummins Powered!

Glad To see people still interested in a Cummins Conversions Forum. It should contain anything to do with adding a Cummins to any type of transportation and also cover drive line mods as well.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I may have to repower something other than an M-37 though- too many of you guys are talking about doing it #ad
. I've just got to be different #ad

I like the idea also , my ultimate upgrade would be stuffing a 8. 3L with an allison hooked up to it into my 3500... . LOL

Please Mr. Administrator

Please OH please give us estranged children somewhere to play. Seriously, I would even offer to moderate if ya did it (unless someone else wants to..... ) :D

Very interesting thread. I am a relative new poster to this board, I have had three of these Dodge's two of those were 3500 TD. A buddy of mine that is in to old Dodges ( He has 9 1940 Power Wagons) wants me to put a Cummins in one of these. Sounded good to me, and I started on this project this Monday. Going over to AZ next week to pick up a wrecked 2500 (totalled)6 speed, ISB. ought to be really something when done. Count me in on this new forum, I may just need the help. Gunny

I would also volunteer to monitor the new forum for “Cummins Conversions”, (or any other if asked)sounds like it would be fun. Without a doubt we really need one spot to store this VALUABLE information.

I'm for it

I did my conversion before I knew about the forum. It would have been very helpful if I had the input of those who have bin-there-done-that. I do not mind sharing my info. That way all of us nuts could have a place to go! Mark

Let's do it. We need a forum for the conversion junkies out there. It would be a good place to swap info and parts. Also moral support for those of us who aren't sure what parts are needed for a complete conversion.

VOTE ME IN!!! A SITE LIKE THIS WOULD HAVE SAVED ME SOME HEADACHES A COUPLE MONTHES AGO WHEN I GATHERED ALL THE PARTS TO PUT A 4BT CUMMINS IN MY JEEP. I HAVE A 91 WRANGLER THAT WAS A 4. 0 HO. I PUT A 4BT IN ITS PLACE AND MOUNTED IT TO '95 DODGE PARTS SUCH AS THE BELL HOUSING, AND NV4500 transmission. HOOKED TO THE BACK IS AN ATLAS II TRANSFER CASE TO HANDLE THE TORQUE. IT'S ALMOST DONE AND YOU'LL HERE HOW IT PERFORMS! I ALREADY INSTALLED A 12CM2 HOUSING AND ELLIMINATED THE WASTE GATE SO IT SHOULD DO GOOD IN THE LITTLE JEEP. THE GUYS AT ENTERPRISE ENGINE PERFORMANCE ARE AN EXCELLENT SOURCE FOR PARTS, NEW OR USED, AND INFO FOR CUMMINS. THEY HOOKED ME UP WITH THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND BELL HOUSING. CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE AT www.ENTERPRISEENGINE.COM.
