CO2.

Yeah, you heard me right.

I have a nice white CO2 bedliner thanks to the Sullivan P. D. after the garbage in my bed caught on fire from the stacks. A friendly police officer showed up just after I finished putting out the fire with my boot and a couple bottles of Gatorade and let me hose down my entire bed with his fire extinguisher. Thus, my bed is now snow white.

Ironically enough, because of the fire, there ain't much else left in my bed, I think I may have to do that once a year to clean the thing out.

1. The spare tire.

2. Roughly 2 cubic yards of air.

When I got up this morning there was an elephant in my bed. How he got there, I'll never know.

Well they said have some fun with this one so here it goes:

You never really know what you are going to need in your travels (even if it is only a 20 mile round trip commute to work and back each day) so its best to have one of everything if possible in back of ones truck bed... such as but not limited to:

tie down ratchet straps - in case you find something unusual along side the road and need to tie it down to get it home.

24,000 lb yellow nylon tow strap with tow hooks - you never know when you are going to have to pull a semi out of a ditch on the way to or from work.

spare set of muffler bearings ... it never hurts to have an extra set in ones truck bed... you never if you are going to blow out a set on the way to or from work.

a bottle of head light fluid my head lights seem to use about a gallon per month these days…

a quart of blinker (aka turn signal) fluid - they don't use as much as the head lights do.

I know there is some other stuff rolling around back there too…. but I figure that should be enough to get some people to come up with “other” things rolling around in their truck beds :)

I've got a set of broken jumper cables. One of the positive clamps is broken off. Been carrying them around for bout a year now. Never know if ya might have to rig something up. LOL

A few brown bottels, a busted up tail light off a military trailer (used to figure out the wireing on a surplus trailer), rubber bed, mat half bottle of deisel addtitive, wood chips, a first aid box and my wheeler fix all box, broken ratchet strap (caused me to get that new slider rear window that I wanted), 2 chock blocks, some left over tater salad from my wedding (march 15)

My truck bed has some twigs and leaves in it. Its noticeable emptiness is directly proportional to the overflow of books off of my desk and bookshelf and onto my floor. I have no time for the truck, because its the end of the semester, and I have sixty books on my floor that require my attention. All that to say, the largest pile of uncompleted projects in my life is nowhere near my truck bed, its next to my actual bed, and its an assortment of random books loaned to me from divinity school and seminary libraries across the Southeast as well as books I spent a small fortune to get in order to skim through them. I look forward to the summer when I can put things back on the bookshelf and get back to the truck. On the bright side, when I take these books back to the library, at least I'll get to haul something heavy in my truck for once. :-laf Just thought I'd add some variety to the responses.

Bed of my truck

I've got a couple of 5th wheel rails that are bolted to the bed, and a small tool box that has some tools and my jack in it. Oo.

fifth wheel hitch, tool bag (which is now so heavy that tools should be in a roll-a-way), extra motor oil (??? i've never had to add any between changes so i don't know why i carry something that can be bought at the auto parts store), 2 extra used but still good transfer pumps (that will propably rust up since i haven't needed to change one out since i put in pusher, but you never know when someone else might need one), and my dewalt impact driver which is the most used cordless tool i've ever had.

At the moment I have the tool chest with tools, bottle jack, fishing gear and camping supplies.

I have my PullRite 5th wheel receiver hitch with the Arctic Fox 5er attached.

All I need now is a $100 gift card to buy diesel to go on a camping and fishing trip. We won't go far, so $100 worth of diesel will gets there. Now I just have to figure out how to get back.

Fortunately nothing, I have to keep it clean to put produce in it. But watermelons will occupy it once a week between May and August. ( Now if you only asked what was lurking in the cab ;) . )

Whats in the bed of my truck right now. The stack of course, a cargo bar, and about 5 or 6 pieces of a paper towel dispencer that flew apart when my trucks emergency brake did not hold and coasted back about 30ft into the fuel station island at the truck stop. #@$%! It put a big dent in the tailgate and bumper , but only busted their paper towel dispencer!!!!:{

Those couple of pieces of plastic that I am hauling around are quite expensive. Too bad my cargo bar can't keep them from flying around in there. :-laf

And thats whats in the bed of my truck right now.

Hope someone gets a good laugh out of that one. I know I wasn't at the time

2000lbs of fresh cut grass from the day in two of them. The other has tools in it for landscaping. Wish it was a quad and a boat!!!!

I have an inflatable pool in the back of mine! One of the clubs I belong to was in a parade last weekend it was a beach theme. Had to put the tailgate down the pool was 10' long. My friends sat in it completely filled with water and used water pistols to spray the crowd. They loved it. Of course a got to drive

Right now there's a 210 gal. water tank, drip hose, a couple ratchet straps, lots of mud, and a few hand tools.

Rubber mat
Large plastic box w/tools & bottle jack
Plastic container w/wood for leveling the 5ver
Reese Signature Series 5ver hitch
Plastic container with 5 bags of sand for ride comfort
Satchel full of hand tools

All under an American Roll Cover

I got a black aluminum toolbox with all my power tools and plumbing tools in it. Behind both wheel wells towards the tailgate I drilled two military ammo boxes to the bed to hold shotgun shells for when I go to trap shoots. There is currently an aluminum diamond plate dogbox sitting in the bed as well, with a cargo bar holding it so it wont slide into my toolbox. I like to run my beagles around in style.
