OK, we've got another fun contest coming up in early May, so I'm going to post something easy for the next two weeks.

Let's give away another $100 fuel card.

To be included, all you have to do is post a list of what's lurking in the bed of your truck. (Hint: since we won't be auditing your entries, we're really looking for fun reading here. )

Keep it clean and fun, please.

We'll draw one lucky winner from all of the entries on Sunday, May 4.

And keep your eyes open for our next fun contest. We're hoping (if we can get some software snags ironed out) to post it in early May.

Happy posting!

Well, the 01 has 3 weeks worth of garbage since it's down for repairs and I don't have any other way to haul off our trash. We are discovering a great new odor though.

The 90 has all the crap that flew off the truck when it was wrecked.

The 85 has 2 cane fishing poles and about a dozen empty anti-freeze cans from the leeking radiator on the 01. :)

The 87 Ram50 is still full of my Dad's stuff because he never came to get it after I bought the truck 2 years ago.

The Ram50 parts truck is full of fullsize parts.

The 81 D150 is full of leaves.

But the best is the 72 chevy with the model A Ford in the bed. :D

So that makes 7 trucks and not one of them running right now. And that 's only counting what I have in my yard. I've got 5 more scattered around the country. I think my redneck is showing:eek:.

I should have cheated and entered each one individually. :-laf

Mine has a nice Bedrug in it with a Leer Cap over her. All this so I can haul around my other love-RC aircraft. I fly large gas engine RC aerobatic planes,my current one is a Yak 54. Sometimes my better half makes me put plants, groceries or the dogs. :)

Flares ( actually reflectors), 2 drawer tool box with one of everything in it!, grease gun, motor oil, rags wing ladder, tool belt, all under a roll-up cover.

The bed of my Dodge has:

1. Tool Chest with a bottle jack, hand tools and camping and fishing gear.

2. Wheel blocks for the 5er, 2x8's for leveling and a few spent beer cans.

3. Four 1 3/4" holes in the bed for the pins to my PullRite receiver hitch.

4. Soon I will have a Tailgator on the tailgate for my butt, my wife's butt, two beer cans, fishing hooks and bait.

In the bed of my Dodge:

Rubber bed mat
Rarely used hideaway gooseneck ball
And various bits of mulch and topsoil from gardening adventures the wife forces me to join, I think in a few years I'll be able to plant my own garden in the dodge.

In the bed of my 3500,

Firewood, Gooseneck still hooked up, some spent beer cans and gatorade bottles, tool box full of junk.

Does it have to be whats in it at the moment, cause i actually loaded one of my gelbvieh adult bull in the back this past weekend, so now all thats left is a DESPERATE NEED FOR A BATH... ... . I will try to load a pic soon

You don't get much more redneck than that, you are my hero

Hmmm, in the open bed, 2 lawn chairs, a bench, firewood, 4 cinder blocks, some expanded mesh metal grating, special mix of toluene diesel gasoline iso-octane n-heptane ethyl alcohol lighter fluid, and a milk crate.

In the big tool box, a couple weeks worth of random clothes, protein powder, water, 2 canoe paddles, a couple life jackets, a mandolin, geno's boonie kit, a random fuel pressure gauge, some batteries, flash light, whole bag of girlie stuff like bath oil and perfume, clothes hangers, a comb, suntan lotion, Pilgrams Progress and a couple other books, and random other stuff.

In the side boxes, some logging chain, a bunch of ratchet straps, chain dogs, 8,000 come-a-long, snatch block, tire repair kit, rope, fire extinguisher, slim jim kit, gloves, funnel, Schaeffer's diesel treat, rain coat, blanket, tools, couple cans of fix-a-flat, 2 baseball gloves and a couple balls, 50' extension cord, car wax, leather conditioner, torque wrench, impact gun, jumper cables, ah, and a bunch of other stuff that would take me a while to think of!

What's in the bed?

Cleaned it out to do some inventory:

1 - top of the baseball Tee where my kids have squashed it

2 - 3 baseball home plates used judiciously as "load levelers"

3 - plumbing parts from the last time my tub backed up

4 - bailing twine (3 different kinds) from sometime last year

5 - hay and dirt from the sametime last year. The wife thought it'd be great compost until I told her it had diesel in it...

6 - broken craftsman ratchets... they don't make them like they used to

7 - chain used as tie downs for the front of the bed. Hooked across the bed to provide me ample places to "hook"

8 - rebar... . I don't know where it came from...

9 - 4 empty water bottles (I had removed the empty beer cans already!)

10 - Water Cooler for baseball practice. I use the bailing twine to cinch the top down.

11 - lotsa can tops... don't know how many are beer or soda???

12 - broken corral boards where my mare decided she'd let herself into the pasture

13 - big empty, rusty hole where my gooseneck ball fits

14 - big dents where I got my truck stuck while connected to my fifth wheel trailer. That was a bad day.

15 - more big dents where some dum^*&*& didn't know how to load a round bale without damaging my truck

16 - Bully Dog Net Gate installed yesterday

17 - 7 years of scratches, scars, dents, holes, etc... from using the heck outta my truck!

By the way, I used the "inventory above" during the process to clean it... used the rebar to "break up" the hay, dirt, and other junk... broken corral boards placed on the rear bumper to keep the crud from getting in those hard to reach places... every hole was used to wash down more crud... water cooler still had some cold water to refresh me after all that hard work :D

The spare 37" tire won't fit under the truck, so I gotta keep it somewhere. At $4. 29 per gallon as of this morning, I try to keep the weight down as much as possible!

1. toolbox chest

2. 245/70/19. 5 michelin xde/ms [spare tire]

3. shovels

4. sledge hammer

5. picks

6. digging bars

7. fifth wheel hitch

8. milk crates

9. power tools

10. hand tools

11. chains

12. pull strap

13. floor jack

14. bottle jacks

15. antifreeze

16. oil

17. windshield washer fluid

18. wood blocks

19. chairs

20. various bottles of different fluids

21. jack handles

22. extension cords

23. spare diesel

24. spare gas

25. kryptonite lock cable [spare tire]

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
