Dad had a deal in 2019 with a gal at DS to buy a Grand Cherokee then she passed him to her boss that proceeded to tell him his perfect 2012 DRW 2wd LongHorn was not easy to sell and started his BS of smoke and mirrors on the deal my Dad had with this gal.

He had an awesome experience in 2011 when he ordered the DRW from DS. Did a better deal with the local dealer as they REALLY wanted his trade as it only had 40 some thousand on it.

I even called this guy at DS as I couldn’t believe what my Dad had told me.

I will never buy another rig from them as they are NOT the stand up place they used to be.

Me either. Bought our 2014 there from Jaylene and did the whole transaction by email. She knew more about RAM trucks than any 2 other sales guys I have talked to. The last one I TT never heard of the CGI block. "Why am I talking to you?" Anyway, back in 2014 I just asked her what their price was for the truck with options I wanted. She emailed me back the price., It was just so painless,. No screwing around with her "sales manager". LOL, I hate that crap. Do they think we just fell off the turnip truck or something? Last year I tried to contact DS via email to get a price on a 2022. No way! The guy or gal got all bu## hurt when I wouldn't give them my cell number. All I wanted was a price. Is that so hard nowadays? I am going to try the internet sales guy at the dealership in Eugene, OR next time we buy new. I probably got one more of those in my future....hopefully.

Probably not close enough for the OP, but my last 4 trucks have been bought from Autonation Littleton Southwest in Denver. They still do a painless email/internet deal and honor it. Takes me maybe 30 minutes total to make the deal from the comfort of my house!!

I learned that at DS you need to call not email as they hire out non sales people to screen emails off of their web page and forward it to a real sales person, I just bought my 22 as DS as local dealer's wanted 5k or more over MSRP and I told them I would drive many miles to not pay over MSRP, I was told if I ordered on they would do MSRP but said prices may go up and after a lot of time looking would up at DS and they had one coming of assembly line that did not have deposit one it so I put money down on it and almost 9 weeks later I drove to Kellogg ID an drove it home... BTW before I went to DS I looked at & called 75+ Dodge dealers west of the Mississippi river looking for a 22 2500 Bighorn CTD under $70K and DS was the only one who had a truck in the price range I set...

I spoke with DS a couple times this last winter. They are FWP (invoice) plus 3K, period. That's their price.

At the time DD was FWP, or FWP minus 2K if you used their financing (min 6 payment, 10K down limit). DD then moved to FWP plus 2K, or FWP with their financing.

In 2017 my dad was shopping for his truck. He was looking for a 2017 Big Horn 3500, HO, Auto-Level. DS told him they had one, so he put a deposit down on it. When my dad showed me the VIN it was NOT a Big Horn, nor did it have Auto-Level. He questioned them on it and they said the custom shop would put airbags on it and do some upgrades to make it a Big Horn. That's NOT the same thing, but how they wanted to operate. It was a fight for him to get his deposit back, but he did get it back. Not the company they used to be.

Sorry to hear that as mine was straight forward deal every thing I was told was backed up by the build sheet with only ad on was dealer fender flairs, front window tint, undercoat & steps, I was shocked they undercoated it for less $$ then anyone close by me including friends discount where she worked...

Dealer undercoats are not highly rated. They screw a small can on a nozzle and spray on a little bit of undercoat in most cases.
