#6 plate and the star wheel is all the way forward and still just a little black smoke under boost... I want more. . I want to choke the cars next to me...

5" exhaust and a new fuel filter is onthe truck... What can I do?

hx40 and 370 injectors... ALL the smoke you want and more. If it still isn't enough, high flow dilivery valves. With this setup, I can black out a two lane road

sometimes, but very infrequently, i'll smoke out of my truck, camel ultra lights... so that can add to the smoke from me. . LOL otherwise, i try to save $$ on fuel and keep the black smoke down to a min. . if you don't like that, follow the directions of others and you'll get there. overall, you'll find it costly. just my . 02. :D

smoke rocks !!

I smoked a cop a few weeks back pulling someone over in a speedtrap on 401.

There is a time and place for this and that was one of them. :-laf

Set your truck on fire and buy a ricer. :)

You must work for the GA state gov't and have an inside line on some kickbacks. I can't wait for YOU to put your converter back on and pay $60/year/truck for a 'test'. Doofus.

If you have a manual transmission then let it bog just a bit off the line and put your foot into it this makes my truck smoke like a freight train.

Yea, that's what we need more kids giving Diesel's a bad name!!

So your saying kids are the only ones who blow smoke or do stuff to their trucks and "hot rod" around huh? Thats kind of odd as most people on here talk about their wife and kids. So obviously kids are not the only one. Im not trying to be a **** or anything but i didnt really appriciate that comment. Im 19. Yes my truck is bombed a lot. Yes it blows a lot of smoke and i like doing it. But I know plenty of grown men who do just the same. My dad is in his forty's and is just as bad as I am about it. And I have been smoked out by plenty of grown men.

I think he was referring to the time amd place for smoking a diesel. Some of us around here actually like the police. It would be one he** of a mess in my neighborhood without them. Sure there are some bad eggs, but life would suck under anarchy.

I think most educated people would agree that black smoke from the tailpipe of a diesel is a bad thing. Is it cool to purposely invoke known diseases by intentionally tuning a vehicle to run improperly, wasting fuel, raising costs for everyone, and carelessly depleting our resources? Would you intentionally inhale a big gulp of those fumes? Have you seen the soot stains on buildings throughout Europe from black diesel smoke? Is it cool to knowingly raise greenhouse gases when everyone is conscious of the pummeling impact from such pollution?

Perhaps these are some of the reasons other board members considered the idea of increasing black smoke juvenile. Smoke is certainly not the most salient promotion of a Cummins or any diesel. Definitely not why i love and drive diesels. If you've researched measures being taken for the near future of diesel emissions and why such steps are being taken, it is likely that increasing tailpipe pollution would seem fallacious to you as well.

Don't worry, the same rules will hit Ohio before you're 25. So how you gonna hook up a factory converter to your 5" stacks? Good luck to you AND your dad. :-laf
