First heard about TDR at Rocky Mountain Cummins in Billings way back, long ago, when I purchased my 98 12v. Didn't sound too interesting to me.
Then last year while search the net for information on the 2004 and the impending EGR doomsday, I came across TDR. Since I could only get the all the skinny by joining (the first one is free) I fell for it and signed up. This was fortunate because I had to wait three months for my truck to arrive. Since I had traded in my 02, I didn't have a rig to drive, and live 40 miles from town I was a captive audience.
I quickly learned I could insult all kinds of joes without getting smacked around, like use to happen in the establishments of questionable character I frequented in a former life. Plus, the knowledge gleaned from the forums has been priceless. And although I have yet to contribute one worthwhile post, notwithstanding my brillance on the polical forum which went unheeded, I look forward to the day when I can pass on some tidbit of wisdom scavenged from a previous thread and stored in an unused brain cell for such a time as this.
I appreciate all the hard work on the mag, and it developes some of the topics, e. g. fueling boxes, HPCR, brakes, and etc. in depth - but the TDR is undoubtedly inet to me.
