I got 49000 mi on my stock Michellins now. I voted 40 -50 because even though my tires will make it to around 55000, they're just too dangerous on wet roads.

14,600 on the Michelin A/T!! Thats when I got tired of getting stuck in 3 inches of snow. I kept them and will run'em in the summer.

42K on the original stock wrangler AT. I hate them though, they will be historyt this spring for new Michelins and Bilstiens all around. I have stopped rotating the Badyears after a Badyear dealer informed me that 3 out of 4 could not be balanced due to internal problems, (using the type of balance machine that simulates road force). Vissually the Badyears look great, worn very evenly. Goes to show you there is a lot more going on besides visual tread. :(

My stock 265 Mich's lasted exactly 109 miles. Was extremely pleased to get that good of mileage. :D :D :D :D Actually they are good tires... just wanted offroad tires. If anyone in the Puget Sound area would like them, make an offer. :-{} ;)

I bot 80k out of the set of load range "E" GY's that came on the truck, replaced them with the same Wranglers, but dropped to "D" load range. Got 72k out of them & two had slipped belts & little wires sticking out between the treads when I changed them. I moved up a size to 265/75 Firestone Steeltex load range "E". These tires ride so much nicer than the Goodyears, but the truck seems much more wind sencitive now. Wants to wander & track in road grooves & irregularities more than before. Might be the tread design.

Tires

Fatboy,

I had Goodyear Wranglers on my Jeep when it was new. After 20k miles they could not be balanced well enough to keep the steering wheel from vibrating which made my hands tingle. I trashed them with 50 percent wear left on them and got the michelins that are still on the Jeep. Luv those michelins. Rides good handles good and they wear like iron.

I have 37000 as of today on my stock Michelin LTX M/S tires. Compared to the still brand new spare of the same tire, I judge they should get me to 65K or better. I have always had excellent luck tread life wise with Michelins, and unless I need a seriously agressive offroad type tire, I don't plan to ever change to any other brand. Although, Michelin does make some excellent offroad tires as well. Just check out Bill Swails Earthroamer truck.
