98. 5 2500 4wd, just bought truck with 108k miles, appears that lift pump is still original, trying to get FP gauge set up on truck, having issues, may need to replace LP very soon, but truck runs great.
On my original vp. Just installed my first LP. I did get a 0216 code a few days ago. But, the code dissapeared. No one can explain why. Theory has been put forward that when they changed the LP, they may have done something that erroneously set the code. We'll see.
39,900 on mine (probaby doesn't count). Original LP, though it's been relocated. All of the BOMBs are within the last 6 months, so I'll see how it holds up now.

I may have spoken too soon. While waiting for the oil to drain during this morning's change, I decided to hook up the Smarty to see if I'd set the P0602 "nuisance" code...
P0602 - ECM FUELING CALIBRATION ERROR
P0230 - TRANSFER PUMP (LIFT PUMP) CIRCUIT OUT OF RANGE
P0216 - FUEL INJECTOR PUMP TIMING FAILURE
The first one is expected. I suspect the second one is due to the problem described in this thread. The third one is somewhat disturbing.
156,000 on the original. Running awesome, better than ever. Seen a few at 400,000 too, lots at 200,000+.
2002 trucks seem to be prone to pump failure more than other years, even the 98 & 99 has a better track record. 2001 seems to be the best year, just based on what I have seen in the past few years.
