Just wondering if you had a version of the VP that had the brass advance piston bore vs the steel piston bore?
The newer build VP's have better electronics (tougher I think), and get all new seals and rings, and I think a new body if you had the brass advance bore.
Just trying to continue gathering info on failed VP's. I think the new rebuilds are probably much better mechanically than the orgionals in the 2nd gen.
With that I think we have a much better chance of keeping the VP running if normal care (clean, lubricated, water free fuel, at the right psi and volume) is taken.
I wonder how many repeat VP failures are happening with the newer rebuilds? I tend to think not very many if all the feeding parameters are met.
