EGT’s running higher

54k on mine, ddp 90s going in soon:-laf. I guess if you run good fuel and bio or some additive and keep the rail pressure around 23k or so they will work for a long time.

47K on mine, stock all original. This past summer they were acting up a little, hard knock when loaded, releasing the clutch w/no throttle. Ran some seafoam through, seemed to help some??

Kind of suprised to have issues, this truck dosen't go very far unless it has my toyhauler attached so she gets worked pretty well. I have been thinking of upgrading to 50hp ones, not sure yet though.

At 135k I sent them to F-1 and they had to fix all six before they returned them as Flux 2's. I think they had been bad since 120k.

Had a horse trailer delivered to me last month. Hauled in by a 05 Quad Cab 4x4 auto. Had 559k and change on the odometer. Owner said injectors had never been touched. In fact he said NO major repairs of any sort.

Yeah, I have seen several 03/04 with 300,000+ a few 04. 5 with 200,000 on stock injectors, almost all have some type of auxiliary Tank with zinga filters... in addition most have added Hp.

The truck with 559k and change had a aux. fuel tank. No mods what so ever. Owner said he had buds/friends that added gear splitters, fueling boxes and such. Said they got no better fuel mileage and pulled no better they just increased their cost per mile. His truck was bone stock. Said he had driven over the road tractors for years and made just about as much money hotshoting with the Dodge yearly and his intial cost/exspensives was a fracton of what a big rig ran.

I think they're better than what I expected. At 30k I installed a 100hp pressure box. Not a good idea. After about 75k, mileage went way down; 12-13 at best/towing 9-10. After 100k, I pulled them out, 2 cracked, 4 good. Replaced nozzles with 50hp. Runs smooth now. 118k currently.

I should add my 200K+ is with factory filtration using a lot of WIX and Fleetguard filters.

I had an EZ for a couple months but other than that no pressure increases. I had a Juice from 45-190K and a Smarty since... w/o the Juice.

Additives whenever I feel like it. Usually only when I suspect a problem. However my fuel guy says it's already loaded with Powerstroker additive.

131,000 miles on mine. Used about 10 different kinds of fuel conditioners and had the juice with attitude for about 110,000 miles. Stock filters and one bum lift pump on engine, so now it has the in tank one. Still runs smooth.

I had #6 go bad and replaced at about 75,000. Have used Howes diesel treat since, and have had no real issues since, and now have 245,000 and counting on the clock.

What did the 50hp tips do to your mpg?
