350,000 mi on the stock clutch & still chugs right on down the road! ('02 6 sp HO) Those aren't RV toting miles. I pull parts for the rail industry and gross 30,000~37,000 lbs. 75% of the time. I imagine some folks "feather" their clutch like a gas burner which drastically reduces life. No power to the ground if a foot is even near the clutch pedal.

I have had 3 dodge diesels :

1995 3500 4x4 I bought it with 425,000 on it - it was on the 2nd clutch, but he wasn't sure of mileage on 1st one.

2000 2500 4x4 - I sold it with 246K on a stock clutch 50% hauling and a fair amount of city driving - this one was bought new and it had 4. 10's. In fact I think the only thing I had to do to that truck in the 246k I drove it was -

brakes @ 125k miles

Fuel sender @ 240k

rear anti-lock sensor @ 180k

and of course front hubs - one @ 34k under warranty and one @ 60k

and you can't forget the great Dodge track bar - replaced with aftermarket joint only

Not much for that many miles

Last but not least 2000 3500 4x4 - it now has 155k, just replaced clutch last week, but two things - we bought it with 55k on it very good price, but had been repo'd wrecked on right front (fender had been repainted and front end parts had been replaced - but it hauls 50% grossing about 25k with 36' horse trailer. But the biggest issue is that it has 3. 55's and we do a fair amount a manuvering getting into tight camping spaces and show areas. I like the 2Low idea, as you loose turning radius going into 4L, which is why I don't most of the time.

i own a 2002 dodge 24 valve ho and i currently have 293750 miles on the truck and still have the original clutch

i have done the following to the truck

EDGE Comp Box/Pratshaft64mm turbo/Fass Fuel System/5" exhaust from turbo back/ARP Studs/all the gauges

2001 had 115,000 miles on stock clutch. Did fine with mild upgrades and an edge comp. Just added injectors, clutch slips now. Westbend going in a a couple of weeks. Thought that might happen, oh well, the price you pay for power. On the bright side, in addition to more power I am getting an increase in MPG with the box turned off on the highway.

Replaced mine last July 130964 in Kallispel Mt. while on atrip. The clutch blew the springs. Dealer done me good service and got me out of there, not cheap. just done.

98,000 on my 02 with a Banks Stinger that was installed at 2000 miles on truck & no problems & has never slipped. Most of the miles have been with the RV but again I never have had problems with a clutch with any car or truck.

150000 on OEM. I could see visible wear at 110000 when I did the rebuilds..... shoulda changed it then but I didn't want to spend the dough. Truth be known, I seriously wondered whether my trans rebuild would last. I guess God had more of a hand in it than I knew because it's still going strong! (The Amsoil needs to be replaced though)

I just changed my clutch on my 2001 with 200,000 miles. The clutch disc wasn't wore down to the rivets but the TO bearing had almost worn through the pressure plate fingers and I don't know if it would lasted the summer

I have 245,000 on original clutch in mixed used. I'm beginning to wonder if the clutch will outlast the body on the truck?

175K on stock clutch, throw-out going, so long to the original clutch. I'm sticking with the factory clutch for a replacement. 175K not bad. Wish I could say the same for the head gasket. Just went out.

98 24V QC/LB 5spd 4X4, EZ, otherwize stock.

Had 179K on mine. Getting it replaced today - it could have gone a bit longer but I tow pretty heavy and didn't want to be stuck somewhere.

My clutch went out at 155K. Diaphragm spring broke and the engagement point of the pedal changed a lot. Replaced with a SBC upgrade single disc rated for 800 ft*lbs. Also replaced the NV4500 with a rebuilt one at the same time. Expect to get to 300K+ before I have to look at it again.
