2004.5 has 272K miles.

Aside from the several sealed frt wheel brg units, remaining repairs were age or mileage related. Seems to have spent $31.5K over these past 12 years.

On the whole it sure sounds excessive, but we did/do tow a 5'er 5k-8K miles annually. Clyde sure works on them thar hills. Anyone else keep a detailed spreadsheet of repair/maint & optional expenses to compare to this?

99 2500 2 WD with 354,596-Replaced Vp44 [no pressure gauge], exhaust manifold, alternator, starter, four lift pumps before moving to frame, and a couple of sensors. Still have the original auto trans, water pump, and has never had any engine work.

A close friend and fellow Dodge CTD owner has a 98.5 with 489,315 on the ODO. Said he's on his second VP and several lifts pumps and the usual sensors. I asked him if he was burning oil and he said no but tappet covers are starting to drip a little. I asked him about blow by and he started the engine and took off the cap and there was none. The cap just rested in the socket and didn't budge. I also checked and it is a 53 block.
