Hey all, been lurking for a few months and finally bought my 05 2500 4x4 this past saturday. Going through the posts I see there are a few military guys here.

I'm in the Air Force (17 years) in Asheville, NC

I just got out a couple months ago. I was 4 years AD airforce and 6 years reserve. Had my fill with it, some fun times though and some great friends.

10yrs National Guard, been a Civilian Tech for the National Guard for almost 2. 5 years.

I did 6 years in the Navy as a Gas Turbine Technician Electrical on Frigates from 1986-1992 and got out as an E-6. Now I work at a large power plant in NY. Glad I was in the Navy, More glad to be out of the navy!

12 years USAF and still in. over at LAFB, AZ.

Enlisted in USAF in '94 as Aircraft Fuel Systems tech. Worked B1s and C-130s at Dyess.



Accepted into USAF Academy in 1996. Graduated in May 2000. Comissioned as Transportation Officer, now they call us Logistics Readiness Officers after merging 3 career fields into a meaningless conglomeration of those so well rounded they have no point.



Assigned to Robins AFB, GA from 00-03. F. E. Warren AFB from 03 to present.

22 years in the US Navy as an electronics tech on many different aircraft. 3 tours in Vietnam as Naval Advisor. Retired in '80 and went to work for Lockheed and retired there. Just tired now!!

I have a cousin in the Marines who gave the order to use a tank retriever to pull down the Saddam statue. He got in some trouble, but because of the positive media coverage, it wasn't too bad. Damn proud of him!!

'84 to '88 USAF AD, stationed in Biloxi MS, Wideband Communication, 304X0, TDY unit, all we did was travel around the world installing stuff, it was great, sometime I regret getting out, I could have retired last year if I had stayed in, hard to believe it was 20 years ago. The best friends I have ever had were when I was in the service.

Joined the Air Force in 1977 and got out in Oct of 83 which ensued a 3 year break in service. Then joined the 168th ARW in Jan of 87 and been a "Military Technician" ever since. 3 years and 5 months to go.

Joined the Navy in 91' went to the boat side of it till 95', now I'm here at Tinker AFB in OKC for the flying portion of the Navy... . 14 down... . 6 to go!

BBell, I just retired from an Air Force tour of duty that lasted twenty seven years. Ten years active and seventeen as reserve (may as well be active) I have been to a lot of "SPECIAL PLACES" too. Some I would LIKE to go back to and SOME NOT, if you get my drift. I am proud to say that I am a VIET NAM and Gulf vet. I must say that I am REALLY PROUD of our troops and the job they are doing now too. Please do all you can to SUPPORT THEM!!!! (Thanks for letting me vent) Perry '96 4X4 SLT,throttle plate, four inch exhaust, 5sp. all the factory toys. Rhino liner,354's Prime loc fuel system,RS 9K'S,Boost & EGT Gauges (ISP) Rear Air Bags. (Firestone). Plus other goodies.

Army 84 - 88, Maryland National Guard 88 - 93. I was an 05H dit-dah when I was active, Intel Analyst in the NG.

US Navy Operations Specialist- Desert Storm Amphib Navy. Got out when Clinton made it better to be out than in! Miss it, but in my opinion, that's no way to raise a family. God bless all vets new and old!

I see a lot for the Navy, AF and Reserve side but none for the Marines. Currently in the Marines since 2002. Serving in Fallujah right as we speak, been here when it first started and went on a trip to Haiti last year on back again for the fun again.
