You should have done WOT through all gears instantly when you've gotten the truck back - this is exactly where mine struggled and fell on its face.
Shifts getting softer after some miles, all new frictions bite harsh first couple miles.

"As you wish" @Ozymandias . Just did 2 WOT tests. Shifted through all the gears, a little later than normal, just fine. Manufactures guidelines for break in are: 500 miles mixed city and highway, no WOT.

Great, good to hear. To me that would have meant a 500 Miles trip back to start.
But also Suncoast has no restrictions on the new trans, you can use them fully from the first mile. I asked about that back then.
