How to add class to an ST

I think if you check junkyards, it should be easy to find some wrecked SLT trucks. With a screwdriver and some patience, the "SLT" badge should pry off of a wrecked 1500,2500, or 3500, giving you an excellent add on for an "ST" badged truck! #ad

Yes, dmurdock is correct: it IS easy to find a wrecked SLT at the junkyard. Evidently, independent studies have discovered increased atrophy in the arms and hands of SLT owners due to lack of effort involved with rolling windows and unlocking doors. It seems that when faced with an emergency situation, SLT owners have less strength to execute a recovery move and therefore are more likely to "barrel" into the obstacle ahead of them. There is help though: carrying around lots of hand putty(and using it) exercises the hands. For the arms, installing a device similar the one Sylvester Stallone used in the award-winning movie, "Over the Top" is recommended, on both sides for automatic transmission owners...

Personally, I have found that if one practices rolling the windows up and down without power, this does an excellent job of maintaining adequate muscle mass in both the hands and arms for proper navigation of an over-assisted SLT. #ad

I still have the SLT badges I removed from my former 99 Ram if anyone wants them.

My 96 was an ST... I got tired of dragging out the brick to use as my cruise control.

I think there would be alot of slt's in the junk yards because
1. the driver would be constantly looking at the thermometer to see if it was suuny or snowing out.
2. the driver was looking at the compass to see if they were on the right side of the road, going east as they wathed the sun set.
3. pulling jammed CD out of the player while attempting top speed.

Why go to a junk yard to get a slt badge, when Dodge should proudly put a ST badge on our trucks. Are we considered second class because slt owners interiors look like they should be drinking cup of hot tea from silver cups instead of coffee from plastic cups.

Hey now that is something I would like to have; Cruise Control; how about like a tractor or airplane. A constant throttle device like a pull cable that will hold throtle in the same place instead of sissified constant velocity like on the SLT that waste gas by engine braking going down hills and giving gas going up. You could call it tractor mode; it would smoke a reg crusie in gas milage also. Simple just like ST. UNITE ST BROTHERS

I think you guys are exaggerating the level of convenience in an SLT. I mean, have you felt the detents in-between each speed of the fan's blower motor? What about switching from off to ac to heater, man! And don't even get me started on those power windows!... have you ever pushed one of those buttons? I'm already developing callouses from having to hold the button down the WHOLE time it takes for the passenger window to lower.

ps. . Don't worry about my callouses guys... my manicurist is simply a "magician"... you can't even tell where I broke a nail trying to open that barbaric gas cap

I think ALL the badges look cheap and trashy!
Including the Ram 2500 on the door! They will all be pried off soon and replaced with chrome or stainless PW emblems or some form of Cummins badge!

What the heck does SLT mean anyway? Not to be confused with ferds XLT, right?
