wirenut, You'll have 4 bolts on the hotend side that go into the turbo housing. DO NOT HIT OR BEAT ON THE TURBO !!!!! Lots of oil such as Blaster. The fit is a very tight one even when new. I placed mine in a soft clad vise upside down and soaked the carp out of it with Blaster. Once it sit several hours, it started to release. I did put anti seze lube on the new unit as to help with future removal. Please do Not play around on the vanes either inlet or ehx. side. Too much $$$$ to replace. Mike

For future turbo housing removal guys: Use lots of penetrating oil now! Even if you are just thinking about a housing change! The best stuff I've found is a super sauce called: PEN Penetrating Oil made by State Chemical Maufacturing Co. 1 800 STA CHEM to order. One can gets me through about 20-25 turbos! DO NOT beat on the center section or the housing or the end of the exhaust wheels to get the housing off! Internal damage WILL occure if the end of the exhaust wheel is beat on! You might not even notice for a few hundred miles but the inner thrust bearing will be deformed and will wear VERY quickly. Be patient and let the pen. oil do it's job and it should come apart easily.

Uh... I didn't hit it too hard... I hope! It works. I just like tapped on around the outside of the housing in a circular motion as to not bind up the vanes on the inner wall of the housing. It should be okay. If not, I'll just order the HX40! #ad
