How to tell if 4:10 gears?

I looked at a used 18 DRW 4x4 Aisin Bighorn today. A lady traded it in on a Nissan Armada and only put 14k miles on hauling her dog around. Seems to have pretty much every option on it for the BigHorn and the 5th wheel pucks are unused.
Very good cond except for being dirty and dog hair on the carpet. They hadn’t sent it to the detail shop yet.
Anyway, I think it has the 4:10 gears but the invoice sheet wasn’t in the truck.
It has the silver color differential cover and I think this is only on with the 4:10?
Is this correct and how else can I determine what gears?

Nope, I have 3.42's in my 2018 3500 Dually and it has the aluminum cover.

Put it on a lift and turn a wheel. The driveshaft should turn four time for one wheel revolution.

yes!!! 2000 rpm! this engine was origonally designed and used for marine use and was really used at 2500 to 3000 for continuous use all day long and no problems at that RPM

But not at this power level. The continuous motors are lower power. The H.O. versions are only a 10% duty cycle motor at max power.

But luckily, unlike most marine applications, we can vary our load for a given rpm.

All the more reason to get a 2500, to keep you awake with the TPMS light.
