I have noticed it 3 times this winter so far again last night. If the 02 with the HPFP 150 sits outside with temps at -10 or colder My FASS Pump will not run at first startup. I do not have a Fuel presure gauge but have the BD LED 5 psi warning light that stays lit up for about a minute after startup when it happens, normally it goes out after initial key on, the pump primes for a second and turns the light off even before cranking it up.
When I start it up when its that cold the fass will not kick in or build pressure. I even just cycled the key and bumped the starter and still nothing. It did kick in and the light went out after about a minute of sitting and idling and had no problems afterwards. It has had aprox 50/50 fuel mix and amsoil cold flow improver in it so fuel viscosity shouldn't have been an issue.
Anyone else ever have this problem with the Fass pumps in cold weather?
