I spent the afternoon (between rain showers) removing my stock reciever and installing a Tork Lift Super Hitch. This thing is big, with the 48 inch extension, stinger/ball, and camper tie downs it weighs in about 180 pounds. Makes the stocker look tiny. Managed to lift it in place with a floor jack but while I was under it I was real worried it would fall on me. If it had, no one would have noticed me under there for most of the afternoon.

All in all the install went well, biggest problem was the fact I was on a slanted drive and jack and creeper kept rolling out from under the truck. This should be the last heavy item I install, which is good because I am approaching 13000 pounds. I aim to install my air bags tomorrow then load up and head out for a week or so.

Thanks Bill, now if the weather will cooperate we will head for Eagle Lake and big Trout. If the weather says no, Death Valley is always warm this time of year, the days that is. Did not get the air bags on, managed to slice my hand in the kitchen last night. Buster is ready and willing never the less.
