Max safe boost for stock HPCR head gasket?

Triple lock vs. single??

I don't own one but I know htturbo.com can build a hybrid 35/40 with any specs you want, wastegate, no wastegate, 12cm, 14cm, an on.

I too run a high tech turbo hybrid. I still run with the stock housing = no lag. Easy upgrade, especially if you have access to a lathe (for stage 3) - or know someone.

Thanks guys. This is the company Proram told me about. And actually the name I was trying to get from this thread. I need no more replies.

Thanks

vssman-

Are you running with a 12cm housing? HTT said people had surge issues using a 12cm with the Stage 3:confused:

My 16 has too much lag at my altitude... ...

Yup... 42-44 psi boost... No problems & no lag. I have to confess that I love the whistle I get when I lift off the go pedal. It sounds just like my neighbor's vermeer wood chipper.

The only downside is that it cooled my egt's pretty good and that allowed me to (you guessed it) add more fuel. I bet this would make a great secondary for a twin set up.

Vssman what altitudes have you towed at with what kind of load and EGTs?

I only need a little more air for what I need. I want to tow with Mach 1. 5's from 2,000' to 4,000', sometimes to 6,000 or more.

I run at sea level to maybe 1900 feet tops. I never towed a thing. EGT's used to be in check (1250ish) when I had my 300 marines and the plate in the center. The way I looked at was that it cost only a fraction of a full replacement (upgrade) turbo. It'll also make a very nice secondary for twins... .
