MAn i am getting really impatient with edge now. This really is BS :-{} #@$%! WHAT IS GOING ON THAT THEY WONT EVEN LET OUT ANYTHING ABOUT THE BOX... TST AND BANKS IS OUT NOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON ... err sorry but i am really mad about this. .



Anyone hear anything about numbers for the edge... what features does it have. .

Growup..... if you can't wait, then buy the TST or the Banks. I'm pretty sure they will release it as soon as they know it is ready and all the bugs are out. They just don't want to release something that isn't ready. Because if they did and you bought one, I'm sure YOU would be doing the same whining about how crappy this box is and that they shouldn't have released it till it was ready. I'm sure they realize they are loosing some buisness due to this taking so long, but if you want the best then you will just have to wait untill they are ready.

I'm kind of puzzled about the whole next gen box thing... . and maybe even a little bit nervous. You know. . I wonder... is it possible that they are fighting the box because of something like an EGT issue... Maybe something like: "We can make this box a real screamer, but it would require intake, exhaust and a big huffer... . therefore we'll either have to turn the power down or find another solution. ". You know what I'm getting at?? Maybe they don't want to turn the box loose b/c it would have prerequisites, and they are afraid of losing market share b/c everyone elses box works with the stock motor??



I'm not making excuses for them. . I guess I'm sayin' I'd be dissapointed to see my speculation come true... . You know? A neutered box.

To answer your question about companies out there that don't update their clients on progress with a product R&D, there are many, many taking that tact now. The Edge box for the duramax has egt limiting and I thought that I had heard that the dodge box will be the same so that it will work with the stock motor

Many years ago... a company called KPRO was building computers... they might have built the first laptop... . they let it slip that they has something really great and special on the drawing boards and would deliver it to the buying public in the spring.....



Sales on their current equipment stopped..... and before they could deliver, they ran out of cash and closed... . never to be seen again.....

If the money is there I'd just go for the TST. The Edge box ain't gonna top it... . and unless it does top it, it's just gonna be the same old same old... . regardless of the details, it took too long. There are options out now and still coming.

im actually scared of the tst. 500 ft lbs with 150 hp puzzles me. Id expect something like 150 hp and 290 - 310 tq. I hope the edge has somewhere around 150 and 300. doubling the stock torque on these trucks is insane. i d like to see one on the trucks on a dyno. My guess is around 400 hp and around 950 tq. But at what rpm do you have that torque. .

after the box you'll need a transmission upgrade or a clutch (500fl/lb!!!!) - is there a clutch that can hold 1000 accumlative foot pounds? - ... ... the insanity continues
