I just thought I would past along a few suggestions for removing the glue residue from the door badges. I talked to our autobody shop today and he said that they have a "eraser" wheel that they use to remove the stuff w/o damaging the paint. He said it only takes a few minutes once the badge is off. Another product that I have used is called INDUSTRIAL CLEANER by 3M. It's a citrus based cleaner that worked very well when I had to remove some residue left over from a fiberglass cap that I had on another truck.

I went ahead and ordered up and designed my own 12 valve stickers, keeping Gary's font(s) and colors. What it will look like is...

With the "turbo diesel" in the same candy red font that Gary has "turbo" written in on his sticker. I figured we need not identify the fact that we're 12 valvers. The fact that they'll never get close enough to read my tailgate is enough of a statement!

3M manufactures a special chemically - formulated adhesive remover, it's practically miracle stuff. It will take just about anything off the paint, without harming the paint. They also manufacture a special wheel that will take decals right off with out harming the paint.
Most auto body shops can steer you to the jobber they get these items at...
