Never seen such a bunch of thin skinned people. No wonder why they have a little wimpy grocery getter diesel. Fit's em...

It's easier than you think. Just tell the truth and your gone. What did it was they had a thread about how many buy backs on the 6. 0-no. There are supposed to be only 500. I was questioning that figure because I suspected if a dealer replaces a truck outside the DSB/Lemon law it isn't recorded as such giving Ford an out. Then to make thing worse they empty the Diesel out of the crankcase, put a new turbo on the truck, may be??? Then it goes on the lot as a "Demo or something"... So if you see ANY 6. 0-no on the lot with less tha say 20K on the ODO run like heck to the nearest Dodge dealer and buy the BEST truck produced today, period... Better yet it would be best to avoid them entirely until they get a handle on it. For those of you lurking in the site trying to decide, don't touch the 6. 0-no with a ten foot pole... .

The salesman who sold me my truck said he knew for a fact that they had bought back 750 in NC. Where did he get this info? Unknown by me, but there is no way that 750 in the 10th most populus state jives with 500 nationally. I agree that probably if they are bought back outside the confines of Lemon that that are not counted in the 500. Also makes them easier to sell to the next sucker, opps I mean customer. And in the overall scheme of things Ford can probably buy them back outside of Lemon, fix them (for the immediate problem(s)) resell them and still make money.

Sure am glad I didn't make the 6. 0 mistake. The dealers told me their problems were fixed over nine months ago and that the PS was the most reliable motor on the market. Maybe he should have gone into politics. I've got 700 glorious miles. This thing is awsome.

Interesting thought though... . What's a site worth that is giving your completely filtered information? Only positive no negative? No hard discussions? ZERO! I watched them dump on a guy years ago for trying to find a fix to the cackle, that in their eye's didn't exist? WHo was hurt? People with the cackle for sure. The particlar thread that got me remove is interesting to say the least. I NEVER full on attack any one person unless they attack me. I may question what they are saying as having any logic? Yoda on the other had DID make a full on attack on me and my truck and he still on the board posting over there. Why? Because he has his nose so far up Ferds butt he can smell their dinner. But that cool. I have full confidence in my truck and would put it up against any other brand today. I don't feel like I have to PROVE the Ram is the best to anyone. SO we Ram owners come off a little OVER confident at times. WHy? Because we can! And it make the competition angry.

What this means is though that the other site is really just propaganda to increase Ford sales only. I would guess there are close ties with Mod's and dealerships so it affect their pocket book every time someone complains.

See THIS site is about fixing. Think of the lift pump issue. The factory set up sucks. No one here WOULD deny that, but what everyone here would do is step in to make a fix. Enjoy this site. It is the best discussion site out there. When I bought my ram, this site was in the brochure from DODGE. Would Ferd ever do this? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!

Exactly. And I know I save many others over their as well because they e-mailed me to let me know. I've done my part I guess. It's not to kill Fords Sales but rather FORCE them to take the people with problem seriously.

Your not joking about that. That man is sooo blind loyal. He could be driving it around with 5 gallons of diesel in the crankcase, and happy as a pig in #%^@

Ever since I got my subscription on here I have been coming here to read and going to the diesel stop to read and talk to friends (used to own a 6. 9). I have posted maybe once.

Some of those guys I cannot stand. Most of them, like was mentioned, are owners of new 6. 0s and had them ordered before they even were available and think they are the best thing since sliced bread.

Who knows.

I just went over and lurked at that site, and they certainly seem to pay attn to what goes on over here. SO, Ford owners, I have owned both Dodge and Ford. I'd love to like the Ford, but your "powerstroke" has earned the title of "flowerchoke". Mine had oil leaks up the wazoo, bad trans, etc etc. , and the dealer even dropped the engine/trans on the cab of my truck when they had to pull it to fix the trans. My Dodge ain't perfect but Ford will have to show me more than that joke you just spent 40k on before I will bite again. The entire 6. 0 forum over there is pretty much devoted to what huge issues they are having and the buybacks. That says it all. And what a defensive testy bunch of battered truck owners over there.

You know it. They really are... They say that they banned me because of constant brand bashing. All I did was sing praises for the 7. 3L Diesel because it did and does to this day, stand the test of time. All I really did was point out the fact that there were some people that were making light of the fact that the 6. 0L does have some serious issues. Can they deny that? I'm mean with a straight face? One guy would post in that he has an extra gallon of oil in his crankcase and it runs like 6 of the 8 glow plugs are burt out in the morning, leaks oil in the driveway and so on... ... . SOmeone else on the forum would tell him it's all in his head, go complain somewhere else... By the way they updated the posting rules over there. They have got to quick complaining so much about the 6. 0L... .

Is this some of that same sardonic wit big daddy?

"He is very pleased with himself. In reality he wanted to get banned. It suited his objectives. It was like an old style indian coup in his eyes. "

Could be further from the truth... . but then like to them, I don't need to prove anything to you either... Have a nice day.

Hey, I got banned from the OTHER site, so now I am only welcome here, The Diesel Stop, and the uncensored site. Why did I get banned?? My last post was about my 6 speed transmission, and how 2 of the 7 synchros are out, with one being out since the first install. All I said was I needed to call them, to see what they could do, and if no help was going to happen, I would drop the bomb... How harsh is that? Its the real truth, am I right? I love this site, and TDS... Everytime I have posted on the Diesel Stop, everyone has been nothing but nice, and answered my questions promptly, with logical answers. No hard feelings, except to THE OTHER site. .

little off topic, but i love the new cummins radio commercial with the guy says "listen up all your ford guys" and then explains why the cummins is by far superior great commercial

I haven't heard that one yet... now I'm anxious!

might only be in california, because it says, the cummins 600 is now in california or something like that, could be wrong tho its a good one though

We musta REALLY ticked SOME of those FORD guys off - we now have our own resident Ford owner over here trying to stir crap - apparently doesn't realize it's a different world over here, populated with guys with no insecurities about our trucks - or NEED to be insecure. Many of us tow enough heavy stuff, see enough dyno runs, sled pulls and drag races to KNOW which trucks do what - we ALSO know which ones spend the most time back at the dealership with serious problems, as well as on the auction blocks from dealer buy-backs...

And it AIN'T the DODGES! ;) :p :p
