What every happened to the Good Sleds the ones that didnt have the crappy plow set up
Ok lets get going and gain the most momentum we can while we can then the plows going to drop then we only have momentum left to progress HP or TQ IMO is not a factor at this point it has become who ever can get the most momentum built up the first 1/2 to 3/4 track after that your PLOWING
... IN THE DAY IT TOOK A FULL RANGE OF HP/TQ to pull the furthest as the weight slowy gained as the sled moved down the track those are the pulls I like You can see/hear/ and feal the weight slowly being added and as the sled gets heavyer the motor is really working ... now its FLOOR IT GO REAL FAST AND BAM DROP THE PLOWS thats retarded Im sorry I Know they set the plows to drop where most will get stoped at 300 ft for the drematic appeal of it all ... but com'mon lets work the trucks all the way.
Am I ALONE ON THIS RANT ???
I worked the sleds for 3 years we had a real sled not one of those fancy plow boys either ... . I under stand that sometimes we may have took to long to add / subtract weight from the sled but its worth it to see a real pull
COME ON OVER TO THE GUN CLUB PULLS IN PERRY COUNTY OHIO THATS A REAL SLED AND YOU WILL GET THE REAL FULL EXPIRENCE WATCHING THE CTD DO WHAT THEY DO FROM FT 1 to FT 300+
ANd when I worked the sled we could stop ANYONE!!
