Gary, I went with the EZ box make by poweredge. It plugs into the MAP sensor and what I believe is the data line. I am very pleased with the performance of this box, it really does seem to help out the low end power.

As far as price, the cheapest that I have seen them is $529. E-mail me and I'll tell you where.

well it won't be long before DC puts a void sticker on those other connectors , not trying to be a smartarse , but the TDR is responsible for the void stickers , and some warranty issues , we post out in the open the latest stealth mods and if they can't stop it , they sticker it . or redesign it so it can't be bomed , like the hardline on the HY35 , only 32 psi even with it blocked , where an HX35 can go to 50 psi ... we even told them what to look for when the new power edge hit the market with their stealth pump connector . i'm waiting to see tamperproof bolts on the valvecover ... we're doomed ... #ad

back to topic , the EZ edge is the way around the fuel pump connector , gary , why not have you decal buddy make you some new void stickers ...

By the way Gary C, the MAP sensor has a warranty void sticker on it - the above post seemed a little misleading in that you asked for a box that can be installed without removing a sticker and another gentlemen recommended his PowerEdge box which plugs into the MAP sensor.....

Hmmmm! Scooby, I don't have a sticker on my map senser, got one on the back of the pump and one on the ECM(box behind the fuel filter) but the map senser is free and clear!! I guess I got lucky #ad

The MAP sensor does not have a void sticker on it that I am aware of. The reason the EZ plugs into the Map sensor is for the Boost module functions. The other plug on the 2001's plugs into a Grey Data plug that has no stickers. The VA plugs into the injector pump connector which is where the Void Stickers resides. And Kevin was talking about the EZ Edge not the PowerEdge, two different boxes just to clarify things. SO techinicall for now you can use the EZ Edge with out tampering with a void sticker on the injector pump connector.

Besides, there are ways around everything, if ya look hard enough.

got a 2001. 5 eth... no decal on the MAP, besides, it is a servicable sensor that one could readily have to replace and not need the dealers help or approval.

As for the Valve cover, such fasteners would make the 'ol valve adjustments interest, maybe they'll put in an Navisnoor, they crap out right about the time you need to adjust the valve on a 24v. =)

Maybe someone can make up void stickers like the ones that are attached to our engines--(photo copy them and then print them out on sticky paper ),then they can sell them by the dozen. na! then DC will print them with a watermark on them.
