Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I have two codes,Help!

I was on Vac in WYO and out on rought roads and the CHK engine

lite came on. P0222 and 1693 show up. The p0222 is

TPS sens low, and the 1693 is mfr ctrlled computer output ckt.

The CE lite has cleared it self twice so I am thinking connection

insted of bad sensor?Does this circut go through the main

connection of the vp44? I have a VA box and thinking

that connestion is the trouble.

P0222 would be the APPS. Check the connections on the APPS. Many threads here concerning the failure of the APPS, and the high quality build of this unit



P1693 is just a companion code in the Dodge computer saying you have the P0222 code stored in the Cummins computer module. Make sense?
