On US14 by my house is a 6% grade that I ran my empty dodge up to 90 miles an hour on with the stock filter. 1100 degrees EGT is as high as it went. I ran it up it 75mph with my camper on and got 1200 degrees.

I put the Moparguy filter on and repeated each run and got exactly the same EGT's. As far as I could tell it did not run one degree cooler.

However, it seems to cool down quicker, seems smoother, sounds nicer, seems to have more punch and looks like it might be going to help fuel mileage some. Most of this is seat of the pants BS but I will do a 0 to 60 on the umph and will tell at a fill up on the mileage.

Would I do it again? You bet. Thanks Moparguy!!!

:) :) :)

Well I ran a 0 to 60 today and my time was within a tenth of a second my last time without the big filter. So it hasn't give it any more umph.

However my previous tests that show no decrease in EGT were done at about 7000 ft. elevation. Today I drove quite a ways at around 3500 ft. elevation and my EGT's seemed to run over a hundred degree's less all the time. Thanks again Moparguy!!!

As I just posted on the other big air filter thread, dyno testing showed no loss of hp from the stock filter and airbox at 500 hp (the snorkel to the fender was removed, no other mods).
