2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission I just installed my D.S.S....WOW!!

I bought mine from Piers. Installation was easy except for a minor modification with a grinder where it BARELY contacted the idler arm boot. I understand Darrin has corrected this problem. It did make a vast improvement on the "bump steer" and has made the steering more solid, but I still have a "wander" problem. Oh well, it still pulls to the right, too. Great upgrade!

Before I got mine, I was underneath the truck, turning the steering shaft, and watching the steering arm wiggle... some side to side, and front to back...



That is why I got the DSS... I knew that otherwise I would have to replace the Steering Box.



It definately tightend up the front end... I still need to tighten the steering box itself, but I completely recommend the DSS>
