Just wanted to share this great experience w/everyone. We own a 2003 Eagle Cap 950 camper. We already loved the camper before this experience.
I just got back from my annual camping trip on the Snake River on the Oregon/Idaho border. During the trip we noticed our camper CD player didn't work.
Eagle Cap is in LaGrande, OR which is on the way home to Portland. I called Eagle Cap from the campground and told them about my problem and asked if I could stop by their facility on the way home. They told me to stop by anytime. (Obviously, I should have gotten the dealer involved, but since I was in the area, I wanted to see if they could help me. I hate things not working and I wanted to get it fixed ASAP... )
I arrived at 10:30am on FRI. I was greeted by Sara who then introduced me to Steve Calhoun, the Production Manager.
I am a really anal person and since I was stopping by, I had made a list of 4 small items that needed repair, in my opinion. Basically, I am a real pain the butt... Real minor things.
Not only did Steve and his crew jump right on my camper, they did it with a huge smile. They did everything on the list w/o a question. Then they really blew me away. They told me the rust stains on my rear drop step were unacceptable and replaced the step with a newer version made of aluminum. The rust stains were only visible when the step was in the travel position. The step wasn't even on my list! When they finished, they even asked if I approved.
They offered us lunch, gave me a tour of their plant and made us feel like important people. Steve also gave me two very nice baseball caps with the Eagle Cap logo. These are high quality cotton caps that are tan and navy blue. I am going to wear them with pride.
Now for the kickers, Steve said he loved my truck and we were back on the road by 11:30am!
Thank you Eagle Cap!
