Hi everybody! Im looking for a good exhaust tip for my stock exhaust. Tired of looking at that old Tip. I would like a nice chrome one. Genos has a couple of ones will they fit? Thanks just want to spruce up the LOOK! :D Oo. :D

If it don't make it go faster I don't want it. No really I think the ones in Genos will work for you if you can find one you like. Many guys on here have them. I know if you went to your "local" big rig shop you might find some other that will fit the stock system.

I ordered the 4" and the 5" from Genos because I wasn't for sure which one I was gonna like better. After test fitting each one and standing back for a look, the 5" was just mean looking. :D

About the time I was going to have it tack welded in place I decided to hold off. I'm going to order the 4" Jardine exhaust and it comes with the monster chrome tip in the package.

I got my chrome exhuast from U-neek tailpipes in OR. Their # is in the latest TDR, I think near the end. They were mentioned in an article.

My tip is an exhaust from a ''97 that has been chromed. Looks great as it is completely chrome so you don't see a nice chrome tip attached to the nasty grey exhuaust pipe that you normaly see.

Cliff - I like your style. Just "PASS IT ON" We all need to be like that. I know there are alot of TDR People that do the same. Thats why I love this place. :D

Failing memory but I believe it was HEMI®Dart who suggested this tip on tips.

Use antisieze when you mount your tip so you can remove it for the winter if your in a "salt zone". Else it is going to show some corrosion.

Back when I had the 4" BD exhaust, I had one of Geno's Monster tips ( 5") on the pipe and it did look mean. The chrome must be fairly high quality as it survived some of last winter ( they use a ton of salt on the roads here) and it polished right back up come spring. I tried to remove it when we put in the stack on, but it was on there tight and went the way of the dumpster.

If you have trouble getting the tip on, try baking it in the oven for a awhile at 350 F while you sand down the exterior of the tailpipe and WD-40 the heck outta same, worked for me.

Forgot to add... Nice job Cliff, that's what makes this site so great  .
