I just installed my transmission temp gauge in the Mag-Hytec pan the other day so I could finally monitor temps. So far my trips have been about 15 miles one way on back roads which results in temps of 125 degrees max. When I installed the temp sensor, fluid obviously drained from the pan and I replaced it with 6-8 oz. Drove for a bit, got it up to 105 degrees, and checked the fluid level. It was over full. So I drained it to the "ok" level on the stick. Next day, got temps up to 125 degrees, again over full. Again I drained some to get it back into the "ok" level.
I posted the graph from my 05 service manual, and if I go by that graph, at 125 degrees I'm just under the min level. I am guessing the stock transmission sees higher temps, so would this graph no longer apply to me?

I don't want to run too high, because when it was, there was air bubbles on the stick, and I don't want to run too low and do damage that way either.
Thanks guys
