Not gonna believe this!!!!

Just got off the phone with the shop... . They put a brand new from Dodge NV4500 and new pilot bearing took it out for a test run and the shop owner was thinking man what a sweet truck as he was running down the highway and then it happened... .

Not going to believe this... . The HOOD unlatched and never slowed down until it was folded over the roof!!! Smashed the windshield, destroyed the hood and the latches!

The owner said this ******* truck is going to break me! As soon as this is fixed be here to get it. Do not even bring it back for an oil change! ROTFLMAO

Giving up the fully splined mainshaft does not seem to be a loss since it did not last any longer than the non.



Problem with getting upset with the shop is that it is owned by good people that are good friends of mine and are trying to get a new business going and this is not helping. They did not want to work on it in the first place and did it as favor to me... I really feel bad for them.



This CTD has left me stranded numerous times in worse places than the hometown. In fact, around town they call me "truckslayer".



I will replace it when I can.

The hood flew off on their watch - they're responsible.



Friends or not... they agreed to do the work - nobody held a gun to their head - they're responsible for the outcome.



Everybody got burned bigtime on this deal - which is too bad...
