This will be my first winter experience with a diesel. I don't think it will be too bad.
From what I've read, just pour some anti-gel in the tank when you fill up and should be ok. I did purchase the block heater cord and will install this weekend. Even bought a timer. It'll be nice to have warm air from the get go in the heater in the morning. My old 99 V10 gasser would take about 5 minutes to get warm air. I'd be half way to work before it go warm.
