Another Allison bites the dust

In-bed Aux. fuel tank question?

I seen it while driving through cumberland md, a gmc pickup that wanted to be like a big rig. It was funny as H#ll, it was a blue pickup with chrome bed rails, grille guard, running boards, and to top it off he had no more than 2" pipe running straight up through the bed and angle bent at the top to try to look like a rig. he should wake up and smell the diesel fuel, he is about the farthest away from a rig as you can get, besides going gasser, i could give him a little credit for trying but nahh, it was his own dumbness that put on that little pipe instead of the big 4-5" pipe that the straight six engines need to breath.

another story on the ride back up to school that sun afternoon a dmax kept on following me for about 50 miles when he came beside me then krept 3 lengths ahead and then nailed it, not knowing that he wanted to play i smashed it and was on his a$$ in a heart beat, got side by side with him waited for him to look then nailed it leaving him in a cloud of smoke, he stayed about 500 yds back until i got off the interstate 75 miles down the road. all hail the cummins

Hey,you were in my neck of the woods...

... I live in Swanton,Md which is only about 35 miles from Cumberland. I'm only about 60 miles from Morgantown. Have I talked to you before at a M. D. T. D. R. get-together?My memory sucks!... Doug

I have not had a chance to lock horns with a duramaxipad in town. Over Labor day, I was towing my Land Cruiser and had 2 duraduds that went by blowing a whisp of a black smoke as they "passed" me towing 8,000 lbs. I'll bet they'll want to play when I'm not towing... NOT!

I don't get it..

The dude probably owns a Honda ricer with "Type R" stickers

and a huge 5" muffler tip.

Only logical to have tiny little pipes on a big diesel V8 Pickup, huh?

:D

I have smoked one maxipad with a 28' gooseneck, pulling 4-1500 gallon plastic tanks, making the height around 13'7" high... he was pulling a fancy 4 horse 32' Bloomer, and it just chapped his you know what when I didnt even grab a gear, and pulled away from him with my parachute-like load... Oh well, its fun to look back at. . the other time was just a few weeks ago, on the way to work... some city slick was in a hurry, and was doing everything in his way to show me his bowtie was bad... it was bad alright... bad idea!!! haha:D ... Needless to say, he got stuck behind ol' Smoky for about 12 miles... I was loving every minute of it! :D :D He was probably #@$%! #@$%! at me, but it was well worth it!!
