I thought I'd be real intelligent (here in the swamp, that just dont fly- Murphy and God both get in the way of that) and get pilot bearings for my 2 pickups, since I'll have the transmission out of them to replace broken and worn components. It'd be a good upgrade for the pickup i intend to keep, and a good selling point for the 90. WRONG!!!!! I should have known, OEM is the top of the line around these parts, anything aftermarket is substandard, crappy, bad, etc, etc. This is the first place I had heard aftermarket used in a BAD way. I cant find a machine shop in the Cape Girardeau phone book to even bore out the flywheel to take the bearings. This is soooo aggravating. Does anyone know of a machine shop relatively close by (like, less than 150mi from Cape Girardeau) that can do something as simple as boring out a flywheel? I thought that would be something pretty standard, but guess I was wrong.
