Good looking rig. When I first glanced at the top picture, thought you must have a new type of gooseneck hitch :) In all seriousness, it is a good looking truck. Congrtats.

Thanks for the comment guys! I was gonna get an auto, but decided to stay with the stick. Just feels more like a truck to me. Who knows how much longer they'll keep making them with manuals.

Waiting on my steps to get here, not the tallest guy in the west, getting in this bugger is a lil bit challenging.

What kind of steps did you order?

I'm on the fence re steps myself. Don't really like them off-road, but I drove a Ford for a while with steps and I have to admit it was easy in and out.

I ordered the Raptor 5" Nerf bars, not to many options for the Mega. No plastic end caps like the Mopar steps. Found them on Ebay, made an offer for 30 less, they'll be here Monday. Definitely makes it easier to climb in and out of the truck.

DHennefer,

Awesome truck!

Might be passing through your neck of the woods in August. We'll probably be camping overnight at Bruneau Dunes. Maybe we can get together for a cup of coffe or something if time allows.

Gene.

Where did you get your chrome door protectors? Dodge is telling that they don't offer them for the mega cab. Are they from a standard 4dr cab?

I bought them at the accessories department at Dave Smith Motors. Ask for Mark, he'll set ya up. I think the doors are the same on a Mega as the Crew, they should fit both.
