I think lawyers pussifying this country

Tonight my roll up garage door spring broke and I removed the broken spring and proceeded to go buy one at Home depot, but they said due to the high liability of a stu%^& home owner trying to change his own spring and hurt himself and sued "of course", they no longer sell them.

So then I proceeded to LOWES basically cause I was not happy hearing how lawyers are so good at putting the blame on all the wrong people from Home Depot, that I had to hear it again from Lowes.



The gene pool is in need of CHLORINE! EXTRA STRENGTH...

Why does everyone have to pay the consequences for the few, we are becoming a society of "NEVER ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS IF A LAWYER CAN BLAME IT ON SOMEONE ELSE"

Yes this is a shame they ruin a lot of good things, because as you said the stupid people can't take responsibility for their actions. Call someone a name and they have the right to sue and would win! When some stupid old lady drops hot coffie in her lap add sues and wins that is bs! ya know it is hot be careful! I could go on and on but it is as pointless as Al gore!! Just try and find one for a real legitimate reason and it won't happen!

Just out of curiousity I would like to know how much cheaper our stuff would be without the lawyers.



For example a riding lawn mower has as many as 6+ switchs that have to be on the correct spot to start, move, engauge the mower blades. If the companies hadn't been sued, paid out a settlement, installed a new switch and decals, and retooled the assembly line just think how much money they could save!!!!!!



Of course then you would have more lawyers filing their own frivoliuos lawsuits to simply **** people off.

Can't do the North Pole. With all their hot air and all the heat their immense bodies generate, they'd melt the polar ice cap.
