The first thing you'll need is a transmission or you'll be in the middle of smoking him and your transmission will blow... . That would su**! He'd be laughing at you from then on. Let that SOB run across me!

I wouldn'tlet him run across you at a stoplight if I were you :(

I don't even play unless I'm rolling pretty good... now, let 'em run across me on the highway any day! :D

I have raced many powerjokes & haven't lost a race yet... of course the story was different when I was stock. I'm talking about fords that are juiced up too... the stockers are a laugh. I am running with the mustangs & smokin camaros now. [unless I miss a gear] I wouldn't attempt racing the stangs from a stop though... . lesson learned.

I ran a WS6 T/A a while back. I pulled 3 trucks on the hole shot, missed 3rd and lost 6 truck lenghts. But once I got moving again, I gained a truck or so.

He knew I wasn't just some guy in a "truck" when at 80mph I was still on his tail.

Not to many american muscle cars in Minneapols area tho. That was the first WS6 I've seen since I moved out here. Few camaro's and stangs, but they are all V6s or going the other way.

I got beat too this past weekend! Bummer! It was a 6. 0 with stacks, he said he only had a programmer, but who knows. Anyway, I out weigh him by 800lbs, so thats something. When we talked he admitted I would out pull him, before he knew my weight. Also, he was looking for a 12v to fix up. His buddy had a Lighting and he was looking for a 12v too! My pride is a little hurt, but I have taken my share of betting the Fords too. Thought about trying to add some injectors, but need more info. Good Luck.

Around here there hasn't been much in the form of good racing. The last "SUV" I ran was an SS trailblazer. Not the same one I ran on the highway but a different one. Was a good 0-60 run to. Wet roads, 2 4wd vehicles. I idled my truck up to 2000rpm and drop the clutch just right. Shortly there after I engage the clutch the turbo spooled up and I felt all the tires break lose a little and the truck "picked up" kinda. Grabbed 3rd gear like no ones business and looked back in 4th gear and he was WAAAAY back there.

He was a good sport, he told me he knew I would beat him good, but his GF didn't think so. Funny typically it doesn't work like that, with the GF and all.

Personally, the Powerjoke owners in this area that are willing to race anything other than thier mouth are running a programmer, full intake and exhaust, nitrous and turbo. (which is not to say I am not running all these things, except the nitrous)

Like the saying goes, "The only thing that runs good on a Powerstroke is the owners mouth".

Yeah if that was a 6. 0 you will need an edge juice with Attitude and some good injectors to beat him.

I beat many 6. 0's with nothing but an EZ and 4inch exhaust.

Wow must have been some crappy drivers, I am not a FORD fan but I do know that a 24V with an EZ couldnt hang with a stock 6. 0 (and those are rare)

Sounds like Ford fans to me..... Get a 6. 0 & remember the blue Dodge with the Cummins decal in the "back" window is me... . in the distance!

my junk runs pretty good... I should be in the 500-525rwhp range on fuel... but a 6sp Cummins from a dead stop vs. a 6. 0 auto? if you've got the power to catch up, it's gonna take a bit! now, from a roll? bring 'em on!

I am running Juice with Attitude in my truck and highly recommend it. On level 5 I've never been beat off the line, when I managed to keep traction. I have even had my 7000 pound truck embarass mustangs off the line. Plus the cloud of black smoke out the pipes is impressive. I bought my Juice off ebay for about $600. Also open up the exhaust to keep EGT's in a tolerable range.

Even with all my power, it's not enough. Injectors and water/methanol injection are next on the list.

almost all of your ebay sites that carry edge products are the same stuff you can buy from an edge retailer but edge will not warranty them because alot of them have the serial numbers scratched on the box's. i checked in to this before i bought my edge juice with attitude and that is what i was told. just go to pmtdiesel.com website if you call them they will pretty much match any price you can confirm on the internet, that is what i did and you still get the warranty.

Bought my juice off Ebay it broke called Edge they sent a new one no questions asked he told me 2 year war evan told him i got it off Ebay Edge is a great company to deal with in my book

why would the serial numbers be scratched off

the one my buddy bought off ebay was/is fine.

You guys realize that most of the aftermarket companies and vendors that we buy from sell on ebay, right? it's not like ebay is some back-alley black market or something...

There are 2 forms of 6-speed launches in my book. easy 2nd gear, wait for boost and the 2000-2500rpm hold on, were moving NOW launch.

With the stock turbo, I seem to have no problems getting my truck to accelerate from a dead dig. read a few posts ealier, I pulled 3 trucks on an SS trailer blazer AUTOMATIC 400hp 4x4. No boost to even worry about there for that fellow.

Now, on the street this is. last time I was at hte track, I blame the combo of a really sticky track + broken J/A box and tires that were prolly just a bit to big.

In my experience manual + turbo + awd/4wd, a bit of tire spin helps on the hole shot.
