Since Sterling offers the ISB as an option for their 60K+ trucks like HEMI Dart points out, and the ISB is a medium duty engine ... and DC ownes Sterling/Western Star/Freightliner ... my question is when will I be able to go to the Dodge dealer and say I'll take a 3500 ISB with an Eaton 9 speed and a Meritor 20K rear axil and Bendex air breaks? I think at that point all this light duty / medium duty discussion will be put to rest.
