I got my VP and my LP replaced, and when the truck came home something had changed.

It is a manual, and when I am idling to a stop, the rpms are at approx. 900 (I don't know, might be less) and right as my speedo crosses 10 mph, it drops 100 rpm. It is consistant, never does it any differently. In fact, if I roll in neutral right at 10 mph, it will bounce back and forth.

I have had this truck since it was new. Before the replacements, it never did this. I think they reflashed when they did the upgrade. Any idea why it does this?

The truck runs great, I get great fuel mileage, and I have no real complaints, just notice that it is different.

Any ideas?

Thanks, AAron.

My truck does the same thing, I noticed it about six months ago, but it may have been happening all along. There was a post here within the last month, by one of the resident DC techs(I think) that said it is normal. I don't remember the thread it was in, but I remember reading it.

Have you checked for any codes stored in the ECM/PCM? If there are any, this may shed some light on what if anything may be related to this issue.

Mine has always done this. My truck had 13 miles on it when I took it home.
