From what i have heard and seen were have one of the best limited slips on the market. I needed something that would pull both back tires even when one was off the ground. When i go wheeling i have had the problem of not having any rear wheel drive because of the last limited slip. well the Detroit will fix that. As for driving in the snow if i do end up in the ditch it is probably because i was doing something that i should have not been doing.
I have heard good things about the Detroit so thats what i wanted to go with. I think that i have made the right decision but if i haven't i will sell it and get and limited slip. If Detroit was making the Electric lok i would have done it. That way i would had the best of both worlds but they don't make them yet for the Dana 80. ARB are nice but they are expensive and are prone to failure when you need them.
