I'm going straight (piped)

Went to the muffler place today and asked if
I could get my muffler and resonater cut off and straight piped with a chrome tip, all 3". Took them only 20 minutes to complete.
Sounds great and turns heads. #ad
Talk about bad luck, it hasn't rained here in about a month, but half a mile from the muffler shop, it started raining and I had to roll up the window. #ad

To be honest, I've only been paying attention to the new sound so far, I love it. I have noticed more whistling than before. As far as acceleration, I try to stay at 2100 rpm for the sound, so I'm not really flooring it. #ad

I just removed my factory exhaust and love the sound i get now. . I had two glasspaks installed, with a three inch pipe in between the two, and a six inch chrome tip on the end. . I have noticed a slight increase in take off speed.

Did mine a few weeks ago. Big difference. Turbo spools up quicker, noise a little more noticeable. I'm not gauged yet but others report slightly lower EGTs. Often find myself running with the windows down (in 40 degree weather) just to get this big grin on! #ad

Well I see somebody else has now entered a sickness we all call "Thunder Truck Syndrome",,See once it starts it will only get worse,,Windows open in ANY weather,burping the throttle in tunnels,bridges and car washes,,My favorite is the see how many car alarms go off in the malls or riding around town as you go by(my personal best was 12 in one shopping center while dropping the kids off to socialize),,It will get better some say,NOT!!!,,Seriuosly though,the sound is harmony to my ears,and since my factory stereo has passed on,I'm not sure if it will come back,,Didn't listen to it much anyway,,Turbo spools up a little quicker and EGT's go down some,but,the sound is the real deal,,My son's friends say it sounds like a rabid trash truck on the loose,,My answer is to them this"The only trash this truck hauls around is Powerpukes and Duracraps,so as long as they don't drive one they are safe",,Got some strange looks from them then,I think this old man is a little loopy,OH WELL!!!!!! #ad

I went to M&K Supreme Muffler in Labadieville,LA. If you can weld, they can probably send you any length you need. They only had 3" in stock.
