I'm terrible with names....

the other day at the Desert Rattlers event in Pahrump, I bought a set of the ABS plastic grill inserts from that guy who had his talbe set up in the shop with the long white boxes. Installed them in the parking lot before I drove off, and they seem to slow the chill-down a bit when parking for a short time. Temps here in So. Nev. don't really get too extreme, but the guage seems to run about 5-10* warmer than before. I guess those little panels do accomplish their purpose In any event, they do look cool anyway. ( I might replace the shiny steel screws with black-painted carriage-bolts to blend in better, though)



I think he sells them via internet, but when I went to www.etrucker.com (his email is there, somewhere) I found only "big rig" stuff.



Somebody knows who I'm talking about.

I am still waiting for bad stuff to stop happening so I can get enough money to buy some. He lives here in Salt Lake so I really have no excuse for not buying some as soon as I have a lack of bad luck. P. S. They do look cool, but I would prefer some black screws too.

I replaced the screws with black carriage bolts that I painted, just tap them in and they will stay put, put wing nuts on the back side, easy and fast on and off. And the carriage bolt heads look much better. IMO

I use the Zinc screws for cost and bulk availability. the cost of getting better bolts is minimal but would add up. Also the wing-nuts are solt 4 at a time in 1 bag. sometimes need 200 to do a lot of sets. 100 zinc nuts in a box is much easier... ...
